How to book a camper?
Please use the online booking system on this website by selecting the camper and dates required and follow the system prompts.
Restrictions to renting a camper?
Drivers need to be 21 – 79 years old and have no more than 6 points or any motoring convictions.
(Please note our SY70 van requires drivers to be 25+ years)
Where are we based?
We are located in Mallaig, Highlands. The end of the road before the Isle of Skye. Perfect location for Small Isles, Skye and the iconic Harry Potter train and Glenfinnan viaduct.
What would happen if we broke down?
All of our campers are very well looked after and are covered by Motor Breakdown Insurance. In the unlikely event of a breakdown call the number supplied in the handover manual.
How many people can travel/sleep in a single van?
This is vehicle specific. We have 4 & 4 berth Campers
Do the camper vans have heaters onboard?
Yes! They all have night heaters so are suitable for Scottish winter adventures!
Does the camper include bedding?
No, as standard it does not and you supply your own. You are more than welcome to hire bedding from us and add this on at an additional cost.
Do I need any insurance & what’s covered?
When booking with us this includes fully comprehensive motor vehicle insurance covering the driver(s). Driver(s) will be responsible for any damage to tyres, glass, fixtures, fittings, bodywork and loss of keys during their hire period and will be charged accordingly. Customers are responsible for their personal items.
There is a security deposit that needs to be paid prior to the hire but will be fully refunded on the safe return of campers.
Can we take our dogs ?
Dogs are only permitted in our campers (T55 & T60) and must be confirmed via email before booking, an additional cost of £50 valet fee is to be paid before departing.
Is there a toilet onboard?
No, all our hire vehicles are camper vans and have limited space, therefor we recommend using campsites throughout your exploring and responsibly plan ahead for rest stops.
Whats included in our hire ?
Your camper hire comes with insurance for 1 driver – all cutlery and crockery -cleaning basket – breakdown cover – gas – hook up cable – thermal blinds and a full illustrated instruction manual on how to operate our campers. Additional Extras can be added during the check out procedure, these include: additional drivers -bike rack – early collection – late drop off – bedlinen.
Do your campers have ISOFIX?
No unfortunately not.
Is there a mileage cap?
No all our campers come with unlimited miles at no extra cost
Can we leave our car onsite whilst on holiday?
Not with us personally, Just 5 minute walk away there is ‘West Bay carpark’ and ‘East Bay’ in Mallaig which have lots of parking available.
Collection times ?
Standard collection is 2pm and drop off is 10am. Early collection or late drop off can be pre booked at an extra cost.
What is the difference between campers?
T55 is a short wheel based camper, its our oldest vehicle but has all the same equipment onboard as our newest, this is also dog friendly and is £90 per night.
T60 is a 4 berth camper but is a “long wheel base” meaning it is slightly longer giving more internal space, whilst still having all the same equipment as the others, this camper is recommended for families. This camper is £110 per night
SY70 is our newest 2021 camper van and is also a 4 berth again retaining the same level of internal equipment as the rest, this camper is £110 per night
